This is the program for the corner stone laying of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame that took place on Nov. 6, 1961. It also includes a first day issue stamp that has been placed on the front of the program. This is followed by a list of inductees in the hall of fame, a program of events, a statement by the Basketball Commemoration Day Committee, and short biographies for Ed Hickox, SC professor and basketball coach, and Ray Kaighn, one of the original 18 men to play the game of basketball.
