This is a group portrait of the Scotchmen, a part of the Springfield College Singers. In the photograph, students of the Scotchmen are gathered around a piano. According to the 1963 yearbook, the students in the photograph are: R. Evans, R. Baker, R. Kane, T. Cooke, C. Noble, F. Hall, D. Tubbs, J. Goodwin, L. Carnes, A. Lutz, C. Greaves, D. Sanders, J. Armstrong. The Scotchmen is a small ensemble of selected male voices which sings a variety of musical selections ranging from folk music and spirituals to barbershop and "pop" tunes. These men serve as the nucleus of the male section of the Springfield College Singers. Handwritings on the back of the photograph say "The Scotchmern 1962-63" and "Singers".
