This is a sound recording of the Peter V. Karpovich memorial service, held on the campus of Springfield college on June 25, 1975. The recording is 33 minutes long. It includes an Invocation, by Kenneth A. Childs, a reading of Psalm 23, by Professor Holmes Van Derbeck, a Latin reading by Dr. Thornton W. Merriam, some selected readings by Dr. Charles F. Weckwerth, and some reflections by Springfield College president Dr. Wilbert E. Locklin. There are various Russian Folks Songs, a singing of "A Song for Springfield" and a benediction by Rev.
