The Soccer Slaminar and the International YMCA Training School Schoolboy (June 6, 1909)
Description:
This is the Soccer Slaminar and the International YMCA Training School Schoolboy published on June 6, 1909. This newspaper was published in addition to the Springfield Student which starts its publication in January 1909 in the larger school magazine called the "Association Seminar". It is four pages long and has stories, poems, and commentry on faculty, students, and school life on the campus of Springfield College, at the time known as the International YMCA Training School. It also gives the calendar of events for the Commencement activities held between June 6th and June 11th of 1909. There is a handwritten date that says October 11, 1909 at the bottom of page one, but it is unknown what the date refers to (perhaps when this was taken into the library).
