It is believed that John Ma (Ma Yuehan; 马约翰) created this document as the outline of his thesis, which was completed in 1920 before he graduated from Springfield College (then known as International YMCA College). The title of the thesis is "My Fourteen Years Experiences of Western Physical Education", and the outline shows its contents and structure.
