  <mods:abstract>A five-page letter from Harold L. Kimball to Ralph L. Cheney, date unknown. In this letter, Kimball informs Cheney about a young man named Harold F. Tollefson who had written to him recently about information and advice regarding "Boys Work." Kimball writes that he replied to Tollefson and feels that he has "both vision and conviction for this great service." Lastly, he tells Cheney about a get-together that he went to during a stay in Springfield that continues to stay with him. Ralph L. Cheney served as the head of Springfield College’s Secretarial Department from 1907 to 1924. Before taking this position, he worked as a YMCA secretary in Albany and Niagara Falls, New York. Harold L. Kimball (1888-1953) Born in Massachusetts, Harold attended Springfield College between 1917-1918 and 1921-1922 and may have completed a bachelors in humanics. After the war and Springfield coursework he moved California where he died on November 7, 1953.</mods:abstract>
