<mods:abstract>Five fisherman walk and sport along the Estero River. Land, water, and sky are nearly indistinguisable, and the fishermen recede in single file to the picture's middle right. Bentley, whose son was also an artist, was trained at Yale and the University of Michigan, and taught at several schools in California. He is perhaps best known as the proprietor of Archetype Press, which published a notable edition of Ansel Adams' photographs in 1938.</mods:abstract>
