Letter to Amos Alonzo Stagg from the Amherst College Football Association discussing the prospect of playing a football game in October 1891. The name of the sender was F.L. Thompson, Manager of the team. In the letter Thompson proposes paying $40 for the Springfield team to play in Amherst and $50 for the Amherst team to play in Springfield. The letter is part of a series of letters received by Stagg regarding arrangements to play Springfield College in Football.
