Michael Parker is a member of class 2002, majored in Accounting. Michael was a captain of Springfield College basketball team and earned multiple honors and awards in his basketball career. He won four New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Player-of-the-Week awards and was named NEWMAC Rookie-of-the-Year when he was a freshman. In his sophomore year, he won three NEWMAC Player-of-the-Week awards, one Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player-of-the-Week award, was named NEWMAC Player-of-the-Year, was selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III Northeast District All-Star Second Team, ECAC New England Division III All-Star First Team, and DIvision III News All-America Team. His junior year honors include NEWMAC Player of the Week, NEWMAC Player of the Year, and Men's DIII News Honorable Mention All-American. As a senior, he was selected to D3Hoops.com Preseason All-America Fourth Team, DIII News Preseason All-American, NEWMAC All-Conference team, ECAC Division III New England All-Star-3rd team, and D3hoops.com All-Northeast Region-3rd team.
