A photograph of Cary C. Marshall with two other men standing in front of the Pueblo of the Seven Fires on the campus of Springfield College. On the back is written, "On Left is Mr. Cary C. Marshall was the caretaker of the "Freshman Camp" for ten years (1931 to 1941). Also he was the father of Robert C. Marshall who was camp Director, as well as a Faculty member. R. C. Marshall graduated from the class of 1928 at S.C. with a degree of Bachelor of Science. ". Cary C. Marshall works for the college from 1931 to 1941, helping with East Campus and the running of the Freshman Camp. Mr. Marshall helped with the erection of the Pueblo of the Seven Fires, built the cabins on the camp grounds, and helped in the design and establishment of the Cathedral of Living Trees on East Campus.
