<mods:abstract>This photograph was taken on May 14, 1969 and shows a group of people walking down Alden Street after the occupation of the Administration building on the campus of Springfield College. In the group is a mix of students and outside people with connections to the college, like Tyrone (the brother-in-law of Ray Kromer, an Springfield College employee). Also identified within the group were students Keith Waters (patterned shirt with glasses); Robert "Bob" McCarthy; John Woodruff; Donald Brown; Janet Houston; Evan Flamer; Paulette Jefferson-Jones and Teresa Burr. Both Houston and Jefferson-Jones can be seen wearing Springfield College T-shirts raising their arms. Vehicles and houses can be seen in the background. Handwritten on the back is “Student in Road.”. Handwritten on the back is "Student in the Road."; The technician who created metadata for this item notes that the date written on the back of the photograph (May 15, 1969) is not the date when the event pictured took place, which would be May 14, 1969. It is unclear what the handwritten date means;</mods:abstract>
