He was born in North Dana. Mass., September 21, 1864. He was a student at Harvard University, 1908-09. After graduating from Springfield College, he worked as general secretary for Y.M.C.A. at Lynn, Mass., Syracuse, N.Y., Malden, Mass., and Somerville, Mass. He is a frequent contributor to the newspapers and periodicals. He published one novel, A Wilderness Cry; and a volume of poems, Wild Rose and Thistle. He is a member of the Congregational church. He was married to Nettie Mabel Fisher and had three children. He died on November 1, 1919.
