This 52 page pamphlet is titled "The Fundamentals of Baseball". It was written by Leslie Mann, a former Major League baseball player and Springfield College Alum and coach. The pamphlet is undated but it was most likely created during the early 1920's as printed companion to a slide or movie projection of his training/coaching program. The pamphlet outlines techniques to play the game of baseball and matches them up with a collection of slides of professional baseball players in the early '20s showing these techniques. The slide number is given and a flash number, along with a description of what each slide or flash is showing. For biographical information on Leslie Mann, see: https://springfield.as.atlas-sys.com/agents/people/563. There is another copy item in the Rare Book Collection and Cataloged.
