  <mods:abstract>A letter from Laurence L. Doggett to Charles B. Marvin written on January 11, 1919. In the letter, Doggett is referring Marvin to individuals he can contact in New York City. Doggett also refers to Dr. McCurdy and mentions Springfield College's current state. Charles B. Marvin (1896-1976) attended Springfield College from 1914-1917 and is listed as an alumni of 1918. He served in both world wars and continued to serve in the Air Force Reserves for thirty eight years. He died in 1976 at the age of 80.</mods:abstract>
