This is a portrait of Springfield College alumnus Jonathan E. Badger (class of 1894). Jonathan Edmund Badger graduated in 1894 from the International YMCA Training School, now known as Springfield College. Badger was born on January 27, 1866, in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Both of his parents had recently emigrated from Canada. When he was a young boy, his father passed away unexpectedly and his family moved to Hanover, New Hampshire.
