This is a photograph showing Springfield College's SC Exhibition Dancers performing the dance "Hoedown". According to a same photograph with a sticker at the bottom, the dance was performed in 1976. There are two groups of dancers in the photograph, each group has one male and one female dancer. The two male dancers are holding the female dancers up and the female dancers have their right arms raised in the air. According to another photograph that shows the same dance, the performance took place at the Springfield Civic Center. The SC Exhibition Dancers was a group that performed dance routines and performed along with the SC Exhibition Gymnastics Team. The highlight of their season was the annual Exhibition Homeshow. The SC Dancers, in addition to helping with the Homeshow, also supports students from throughout the College community interested in performing, improving and perpetuating dance on Campus.
