SC Gymnastic Team: Tableaux with music and spoken titles
Description:
This is a short black and white, 16mm film of Springfield College Gymnasts performing tableauxs. The film is a little bit over two minutes seconds long. The first tableaux is about football. The gymnasts line up and snap the ball. One gymnast throws the football. The sound starts with the second tableaux which is a group of gymnasts with sabers. Piano music plays as the gymnasts battle with one gymnast in the middle. After that they show a bunch of different Tableauxs and a voice says the title of the Tableaux. Included is tug of war (with full introduction), sprinters, cooperation, and youth. Technician who digitized film wrote, "obscured optical track. i was able to use aeo-light to recover some audio. it was very noisy and i took out as much of the noise as i was able to.";
