This document is titled "Rationale for Demands." This document was analyzed by the faculty and president of Springfield College February 19, 1969. This document is two pages front and back. The front of both pages is typed information and the back had notes about the meeting. The demands made by the black students are typed and the notes from the meeting are in red under or near each demand. The notes include information on how many accepted letters and openings are in place, who the black staff members are currently, information on full scholarships available and what percentage is set aside for black students, comments on the difficulty of these demands. Notes on the back include options for how the school may go about completing the demands, looking specifically to reduce pack "discrimination", setting up an exchange program, considering using students in the professor selection, questions to clarify on demands. This meeting notes seem inconclusive on how the school will move forward. Notes discuss possible changes, questions, and concerns about the schools culture. It is not sure who wrote the notes on the document.
