Description:
This is a copy of a three-page letter written by Leslie Mann to the Springfield College Alumni Secretary Dated May 22, 1951. The letter concerns raising funds for the Alumni Fund of Springfield College by selling the See-how Movie Viewer. The See-how movie viewer was created by Leslie Mann and the Athletic Films Inc. and was a platform for training films in how to play baseball, basketball, bowling, golf, tennis, and other sports that could be held in your hand and viewed at the pace of the user. Mann's proposal was to let alumni sell these to their family and friends and commission of 20% would go the Alumni Association. He ends by saying he would stop by Springfield to talk if they deemed it was appropriate. To see the original of this letter, see item ms532-01-11-001.
