This black and white photograph shows US Army Air Force soldiers leaning out of the windows of an Interstate Steeliner bus on the campus of Springfield College (June 1943). The soldiers are smiling and looking at the camera. The bus has stripes on it and the words "Providence Springfield Albany" describing where it travels. There are trees in the background. There is writing on the back of the photograph showing that the men are headed to the airport and a stamp depicting the date and request for the photograph to be returned to Springfield College.
