The video introduces Morgan's work experiences, family and education background, how he invented volleyball, and the influence of his invention. James Naismith, Springfield College faculty member and the inventor of basketball is mentioned in the video, and people interviewed in the video are: Joe Dearing, Springfield College Women's Volleyball Coach; Stuart Naismith, grandson of James Naismith; Jack Deeringer, nephew of William G. Morgan; Alexander Stetynski, Director of Development of the Volleyball Hall of Fame; Albert Monaco Jr., President of USA Volleyball; Marv Dunphy, USA gold medal volleyball coach (1988).
