A portrait photograph of Guido Graziani in a basesball uniform from c. 1970. Graziani is wearing the Olympic baseball sweatshirt from 1936 and a baseball hat. He is standing on a field holding two baseballs. Guido Graziani was born in Rome in 1896 and went to Niagara University. He came to the United States to study physical education and psychology at Springfield College and graduated in 1922. He taught the Italian armed forces sports during World War I and founded the YMCA in Rome in 1919. He organized the first basketball coaching courses in Italy and became one of the Italian Basketball teams coaches in 1936.
