This photograph shows the front entrance to the Springfield College athletic annex. The annex is located next to the Towne Student Health Center, which can slightly be seen in the photograph. Wilbraham Avenue is shown in the picture and the front stairway is enclosed with fencing. A streetlight is visible on the corner of the street. The photograph is not dated but it is assumed to have been taken between 1970 and 1990. The annex is used for storage of athletic equipment and the future goal for the annex is to have working batting cages for the softball and baseball teams.
