On the first page of this two page document an article titled "Meeting of the corporation of McGill University," lists James Naismith being appointed instructor in gymnastics by the board of governors in their 1890-1891 meeting. This is a copy of the original document. The other articles on the first page are titled "The late Mr. Workman's will," "McGill University News," "McGill Graduates - Adjourned annual meeting of the society - a lday graduate elected vice-president," "New bachelors of arts - forty-three to receive their degrees at to-day's convocation." The second page contains the articles "Law graduates - the results of the law examinations at McGill University," "University notes - changes in McGill medical faculty - a gift to the museum," "Graduate and undergraduates," "The graduates society," and McGill normal school - session 1889-1890.".
