The document outlines a timeline of his life from his birth to his death. Of particular interest is the outline of the period around the creation of the game of Volleyball in 1895. Professor Yutaka Mizutani is an internationally recognized scholar, practioner, teacher, and historian on sport, physical education, Volleyball and Basketball. Over his long career he has been a promoter and creater of many programs to further sport in Japan and beyond. Mizutani is one of the view sport historians who has written extensively and published a book on William Morgan and the creation of Volleyball. For more information on William G.
