  <mods:abstract>A newspaper article titled, "Jim Thorpe and Les Mann in Chat about Carlise Indians' Football Game Here in 1912." The clipping is undated and the publisher is not identified. The paper recounts a meeting between Leslie Mann and Jim Thorpe where they talked about the football game between Springfield College, then known as the International YMCA College, and the Carlisle Indians. In the game Jim Thorpe scored all the points for the Carlise Indians and Leslie Mann almost scored all the points for Springfield College. The Carlise Indians held on to win.
