Statement on Black Student Demands, with corrections (February 20, 1969)
Description:
This is a draft of the "Statement on Black Student Demands" written by Wilbert E. Locklin, President of Springfield College, and dated February 20, 1969. In the statement Locklin gives an overview of the Demands and writes a response to each of the 9 demands. This copy or draft has two corrections on it. On the first and sixth page of the statement the word "decisive" in the phrase, "decisive action" is crossed out and "positive" is written above. In the released version it appears that these changes were reflected.
