This is a photograph of Springfield College Women's Track and Field coach Earl Church (Left), athletes Susan North (Patterson) and Branwen Smith (King). In the photograph, they are wearing track suits and standing on a running track. The 1977 season is Springfield College's first Women's Track and Field season. The team was coached by Earl Church, and they finished with a meet record of 8-0. Church only coached the team for one season. On the back of the photograph, "1443-11" is written in pencil, as well as "Coach Earl Church, Sue North, Branwen Smith".
