This is a yellow double-sided document for titled "Archie Allen The Coach's Coach" brochure. It is dated April 15, 1978. On the front is the title, "Archie Allen The Coach's Coach" as well as a picture of Archie Allen. On the back are "Excerpts From Letters.." which are various quotes about Springfield College's Baseball coach Archie Allen from players, colleagues, and friends taped and glued onto this page. Archie Allen coached baseball at Springfield College from 1948 to 1978. He is one of the best-known coaches in the college's history and was selected to the Springfield College Athletic Hall of Fame’s first class in 1972. Archie was the head coach for three of the four times that the school’s baseball team reached the College World Series. He coached the US Pan American team, was president of the College Baseball Coaches Association, and was commissioner of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Allen also published four books on baseball strategy.
