<mods:abstract>This is a brochure for the 3rd Annual College Nite at Cook's Butterfly Ballroom, a celebration for the Springfield College Baseball team's 1929 season. The title page lists the name of the event, and identifies the musicians of the event, who are Edwin J. McEnnelly and his Victor Recording Orchestra. The second page is blank, and the third page explains the sponsors of the event, which are the Springfield College baseball team. The coach, manager, and team captain's last names with first and middle initials are listed, and there is a small image of each. Harold DeGroat is the coach but it is not clear who the team captain and manager are. The fourth and fifth pages list the order of the dances, and there is a line for each dance. The goal is to have the person you dance with sign the line and then change partners and continue the process. The 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th dances are listed as waltzes, and there is an extra dance listed after the 6th and 12th dance. The sixth page lists the people who provided financial support in order for the event to occur, and this includes both Harold DeGroat and Leslie Mann. There also appears to be two guests at the event, and their names are listed here. The seventh page says that the event was Compliments of J.G. Rhiems. The final page is also blank. IHarold DeGroat coached a total of sixteen seasons (1927-1942) and had an overall record of 139-118-0 with a .541 winning percentage.</mods:abstract>
