"The Goat" was an "underground" paper published by a group on the Springfield College campus. This radical newspaper was create by a student group Ad Hoc Committee for Student Self-Determination. Generally, "The Goat" includes various quotes and manifesto-type pieces of work about the change that should occur on the Springfield College Campus. "The Goat" began in 1968 and sparked controversial conversations often targeting the administration and department heads. There appear to have been only be 4 issues. In each of the issues, there is information for their next meeting time as well as what they plan to discuss. As the issues develop, "The Goat" title become more elaborate in font.
