<mods:abstract>This photograph shows a room of people during ICHPER (International Council for Health, Physical Education, and Recreation) meeting. There is a possibility that the second from the left woman in the front row is C. Lynn Vendien. Barry Pelton, faculty of Department of Health and Physical Education, University of Houston, is probably also in the photograph since his name is written on the back of the photograph. Dr. C. Lynn Vendien was a professor of physical education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a leader in international and comparative physical education. The handwriting on the back of the photograph says "ICHPER Kingston Barry Pelton."</mods:abstract>
