Letter from Edward W. Strong to Laurence L. Doggett (May 19, 1918)
Description:
A three-page letter from Edward L. Strong to Laurence L. Doggett, dated May 19th, 1918. In this letter, Strong responds to Doggett's request for his experiences and a photograph of him in his uniform for his class' Commencement. However, he says it would be difficult for him to send the latter since he did not have his picture taken since he enlisted. With his experiences, he writes his opportunity to help at the Y.M.C.A in his area, his feelings towards the college, and a meeting he had with a friend from Springfield.
