The official program from the September 18, 1971 football game, Springfield College vs. Cortland College. The game took place at Benedum Field, or Stagg Field as it is called now, on the campus of Springfield College. The program contains information on the two colleges, the lineups and information on the teams, and advertisements. Of particular importance is the filed new Poly-Turf installation. This was the first game to be played on this field and there are articles and information on this new field, including the cover which has a carton with a bird trying to get a worm from the new field created by Jim Trelease.
