  <mods:abstract>This is a two-page letter written by Louis V. Meyers (Class of 1949) to Wilbert E. Locklin, President of Springfield College, dated April 22, 1970. In the letter, Meyers expresses his opinion of how Springfield College and Locklin have handed the Black student protests for equal rights on the campus. He quotes a passage of an article Locklin wrote about the YMCA program in Urban Life that he finds hard to equate with how the situation has been handled.</mods:abstract>
