  <mods:abstract>A Springfield College News release about Springfield College Lacrosse player Robert (Bob) Felt being named United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)Player of the Year. The News Release also talks about Head Coach Keith Bugbee being names Coach of the Year. The release came on June 13, 1994. It is two pages long. At Springfield, Felt had an illustrious four-year career as member of the lacrosse program and graduated with a degree in business management and economics. A two-time captain, Felt was the co-captain on the 1994 Springfield squad that captured the NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse National Championship. In Felt's senior season, he was a USILA All-America First Team honoree, named the USILA Midfielder of the Year, as well as USILA Player of the Year. Felt concluded his time at Springfield with 188 career points, with is 13th-best all time, while his 136 goals is the fifth-most in program history. Felt was selected to play in the prestigious North/South Lacrosse All-Star game in 1994 at Johns Hopkins University, and would later by a member of the Glenelg Lacrosse Club in Adelaide, Australia. After graduating from Springfield, Felt was selected by the Boston Blazers in the 1994 Major Indoor Lacrosse League Draft, where he played for three seasons. His athletic excellence continued while he competed in and finished the Iron Man World Championships twice in Kona, Hawaii. Since 1996, Felt has been a dedicated high school educator and coach within the Hyde School. Coaching football, basketball, and lacrosse in his tenure, Felt was the 2009 US Lacrosse New England Coach of the Year and he later acted as the Head of School from 2013-2017 at the Hyde School in Woodstock, Conn.</mods:abstract>
