This is a cabinet card portrait of Springfield College alumnus Mark Ritchie (class of 1894). Ritchie was born in Leith, Scotland, on February 25, 1870. He was a carpenter and joiner by trade, coming to America in 1890. he eventually became general secretary of his local Y.M.C.A. in Scotland.
