Title:: Massachusetts Town Corners
Description:: This dataset represents the locations of Massachusetts town boundary survey points. Each feature includes an image of a map from historical town boundary atlases. The geography covers the state of Massachusetts. The data reflects the current day, but links out to atlases created in the early 20th century. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) created this dataset with attribute data pointing to atlases scanned by the State Library of Massachusetts (SLM). The LMEC has prepared this dataset for easier public use and created a webmap for discovery.
